Duke of York Square Farmer's Market

This weekend has been lovely hasn't it? Weather wise it has felt like a little taste of Spring. I woke on Saturday to the sun shining through my bedroom blind and a small glint of the deep blue cloudless sky. Let's be honest, this weather comes round once in a blue moon these days. Maybe not even that.

There was only one thing to do with this perfect day: potter down to the Duke of York Square Farmer's Market.
For a few years now, every Saturday, there is an open air food market offering a range of fresh produce mixed with lots of international food stalls. It is held in the Duke of York Square situated directly off the King's Road in Chelsea (http://kingsroad.co.uk/).

At about brunch time I strolled over the bridge with my brother in tow...

We arrived at the market to see it in full swing. My favourite stalls were as follows, websites will be linked.

After making several scrummy purchases, my brother and I cooled off with a fresh coconut.

Until Hugo's sweet tooth took over when he saw these...

A little too sour perhaps?

After our tummies were well and truly stuffed with all the deliciousness that the Farmer's Market had to offer we decided to head back. Treasuring with us our goodies in several bags we walked back over the bridge arriving home to light the fire. After all we can't get too comfortable - freezing temperatures for the next couple of weeks? that's more like it England.
