Lake Como Part 2
So it was the morning after the night before and we were all feeling a little fragile. We decided instead of doing anything too strenuous, that lounging by a pool with a beach bar would hit the nail right on the head.
For us it had the be The Beach Bar at the Hotel Tremezzo.
I was very happy, which meant they were happy too!
After lunch we decided to cool off with a dip in the pool followed by some much needed vitamin D from the sun! This was our killer backdrop...
It truly was the most spectacular weekend.

Lake Como Part 1
Last weekend I went to my favourite place in the world. It happened also to coincide with my birthday - how convenient!
I hurried out of work at 6pm to head to Gatwick and catch the 8pm plane to Milan Malpensa. Unfortunately, for all who are well aquatinted with Easy Jet, this obviously was not going to be the case! 3 hours, 2 glasses of wine and 1 vodka shot later the flight was called to board.
After what seemed like a rather quick journey (thanks to the alcohol consumption I'm sure!) I had arrived.
I woke the next day to this..... I was in Lake Como
It was such a gorgeous morning, I decided to take the dogs for a quick stroll down the Greenway...
Once I returned, my family and I decided to head down to one of the villages along the Lake, Menaggio, to have an ice cream and take a dip in the Lake.

We on the other hand decided to sit in the square and dive into our ice creams instead!
With our tummies full to the brim with the best ice cream and prosecco Italy can offer, we headed home for a quick siesta before the evenings festivities.
When the clock hit 7pm we were all glammed up to the nines, ready for supper at the best restaurant in the best location on the Lake - Tirlindana.
After supper we all felt it was high time that we head to the Lido Di Lenno to have cocktails and dance the night away...
